In addition to small plot and on-farm trials, planned together with our partners around the world, Avgust is developing its own «Agroproject».
At this point, «Agroproject» represents four farms in two countries—Russia and Kazakhstan.
Based on these enterprises with a total area of about 100 thousand hectares, Avgust employs a modern machinery fleet, practices state-of-the-art agricultural technologies, introduces integrated plant protection systems, tests new products to offer its partners the best professional solutions and demonstrate the ways to achieve highly profitable agribusiness.
Here, numerous experiments are launched on a wide range of crops (cereals, legumes, oilseeds, etc.), aimed at implementing no-till technology, crop seeding rates, irrigation, using various rates and types of fertilizers and crop protection products.
Also, «Cropio» satellite process monitoring and control system (sowing, chemical treatment, etc.) is introduced at the enterprises; drones are used for visual inspection of the fields.
