Highly systemic fungicide with preventive and curative action to control main diseases in wheat and grapevine. It is formulated using two active ingredients with a high penetrating ability, coverage of the treated area and better dispersion within the crop.

Active ingredients:

Propiconazole, 300 g/L and Tebuconazole, 200 g/L

Formulation:

It is an emulsifiable concentrate (EC). The system of additives (solvents and surfactants) which has been specially selected for this formulation ensures that a homogeneous mixture of the fungicide contains particles of less than 200 nanometres in size. Due to this, the penetration and translocation of the active ingredients within the plants is greater than penetration and translocation of traditional emulsifiable concentrates, which leads to a higher fungicidal activity of Nomad.

Characteristic of active ingredients:

The two active ingredients belong to the chemical group of triazoles but they have different spectra of pathogens, which are objects of control, and complement each other with great synergy.

Mechanism of action of the product:

Tebuconazole and Propiconazole are inhibitors of the process of ergosterol biosynthesis in the cell membrane of phytopathogens. As a result, their cell walls are broken, mycelium stops its growth, and then dies. The active ingredients move through the Xylem (from the bottom to the head; through the plant stem towards the ear and from the bottom to the top of the leaf), and are rapidly absorbed by the vegetative parts of the plants.

Tebuconazole has both preventive and curative systemic actions and is highly efficient at controlling powdery mildew fungi (Erysiphales) and rust fungi (Uredinales).

Propiconazole has strong curative, preventive and eradicative systemic action. It inhibits sporulation of the pathogens. It has a high efficiency in the control of various fungal stains. It also has a growth regulatory action which ensures better carbon dioxide assimilation (CO₂) by plants and, therefore, enhances the process of photosynthesis in plants.

Rapidity of action:

Nomad penetrates plants through leaves and roots within 2 to 4 hours after its application. It is rapidly and evenly distributed in the tissues of the plant and prevents the penetration and development of pathogens in the leaves and stops the infection.

Protection period:

The fungicide Nomad protects crops against infection for a period of 4-5 weeks. Due to its high penetrating ability, Nomad is resistant to rainy conditions.

Possible resistance:

If recommended doses and recommendations for use of the product are followed, it is unlikely that pathogens will have any resistance to the product.
